How long does coaching with The Coach Initiative last?

A typical coaching engagement between a nonprofit organization client and The Coach Initiative occurs three to four times a month over the course of three months. Coaching engagements may be extended by request and with approval of The Coach Initiative.


How do I become a coach volunteer?

The Coach Initiative Pro Bono Coaching Program is open to all qualified coaches [link to “Coach Qualifications,” below] who wish to give back and make a real difference in nonprofit organizations. We seek professional coaches to provide coaching on a volunteer basis to leaders of nonprofit organizations and their recipients for a three-month period. How can my organization be considered for coaching from The Coach Initiative?

The Coach Initiative Coaching Program is open to nonprofit organizations dedicated to the betterment of the human condition and to uplifting the human spirit. Nonprofits meeting this criteria that demonstrate interest and a need for professional coaching as well as a commitment to excellence will be considered as Coach Initiative Coaching Program Organizations. WHAT DO COACHING SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE COACH INITIATIVE COST?

Coaching services provided by The Coach Initiative are provided on a free or affordable basis, depending on an organization’s ability to fund services and the number of individuals at the organization who are participating in coaching. The administrative fees for coaching, if any, will be negotiated during the matching process.


What is coaching?

In coaching, clients enjoy the benefits of consistent support and regular accountability while working with an inquisitive partner who invites the client to set customized goals and to then generate organic approaches to meeting those goals. It’s all about what works best for the given client and organization. It’s an effective blend that allows the client to tailor the coaching relationship to the organization’s unique situation.


What kind of organizations does The Coach Initiative help?

We have worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations, from small to large and from local to global, across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Past organizations that have engaged with The Coach Initiative include those who work to ensure the security, well-being and education of children; to protect and improve the health of the environment; and to promote world peace. Where does money donated to The Coach Initiative go?

Funds raised on behalf of The Coach Initiative cover administrative, operational and marketing costs of the organization. Coaches, board members and volunteers do not receive any compensation and do all work free of charge.
